These terms apply to the vehicle recovery, transport and roadside services provided by LADS Recovery ("we", "us"), and to your use of this website. By booking a job with us you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide vehicle recovery, breakdown assistance, low-loader transport, engine/gearbox lifting, jump starts, diagnostics and scrap vehicle collection across our stated coverage area. We'll always do our best to reach you promptly, but arrival times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed as they depend on traffic, weather and demand.
Quotes & pricing
- Prices shown on this site and in the online calculator are estimates. The final price is confirmed with you by phone before we set off.
- Pre-booked collections are charged on one-way mileage plus the booking fee. Emergency call-outs are charged on both-way mileage plus the call-out fee. Fixed-price services (such as jump start and diagnostics) apply within the stated area and hours.
- Distances used by the calculator are estimated from postcode centres and may differ from the actual route.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We'll tell you the accepted payment methods when you book.
Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate details of your location, vehicle and situation.
- Make sure you are legally entitled to authorise the vehicle's recovery or sale.
- Remove valuables and personal items before collection where possible.
Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for pre-existing faults or damage, for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a booking, please let us know as soon as possible. Where we have already been dispatched or incurred costs, a charge may apply.

The website is provided "as is" for information. The cost calculator and location tools rely on third-party services (postcodes.io, OpenStreetMap) and are provided as a guide only.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
